About Janeni
I was admitted to practice in 2015 after completing my Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Institute for Law. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws degree from Deakin University.
To supplement my university studies, I undertook work experience in community legal centres, government agencies and professional legal practices.
Prior to joining Rowson Brasse & Co, I gained experience working at a mid-tier general practice firm in the inner suburbs. I practiced in property law, advising clients on property transactions including residential and commercial conveyancing, off-the-plan sales and purchases, related party transactions and retail leases.
Outside Work
I am an avid hiker of the Victorian Alpine region. Being in the outdoors is a soothing experience for me. A favourite past-time of mine is taking road trips to the Victorian high country, setting up camping tents and toasting marshmallows over the warm camp-fire.
On the weekends I like catching up with my friends and finding new cafes to have brunch and coffee. I certainly can’t go past a good eggs-benedict! I am also a music fanatic, and thoroughly enjoy Melbourne’s urban live music scene.
